Spire Capital is a committed responsible investor, fully aware that addressing climate change and promoting social objectives are essential elements of good business.
Our business approach is to try and apply technology to companies to make them better and greener and use accelerated digitalisation to promote the growth of businesses already creating sustainable impact. We look for greentech / cleantech opportunities as part of our investment strategy.
In our companies we focus on social and governance aspects, expecting these businesses to be desirable places to work with equal opportunities for everyone, playing relevant roles in their communities and promoting mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers, customers and other stakeholders.
We seek to enhance governance in the process of converting smaller enterprises to more mature corporations.
We regard transparency

as important both for compliance and to ensure that stakeholders can evaluate our aspirations and achievements. We assess the alignment of our investments with EU Taxonomy and report any potential negative impacts on sustainability using Principal Adverse Impact Indicators, which include full carbon footprint calculations for all portfolio companies. We disclose our assessment of sustainability risks (and opportunities), our ESG Policy and other more detailed analysis in our ESG Annual Report.
